As someone constantly looking for ways to streamline SEO tasks, I’ve tried and tested countless SEO tools.
Recently, I came across Ranklytics—a tool that claims to offer everything from keyword research and content generation to competitor analysis and SEO audits.
Since the tool is available on AppSumo as a lifetime deal for $59, I figured it was worth a try.
After diving deep into its features, here’s my detailed review of Ranklytics.
What is Ranklytics?
Ranklytics is a comprehensive SEO tool designed to help website owners, bloggers, and marketers optimize their content and website for better search engine rankings.
The platform claims to do everything you need for SEO in one place:
- Keyword research
- AI-powered content writing
- On-page audits
- Content gap analysis
- Competitor research
- Keyword rank tracking
Sounds impressive, right? But how does it perform? Let me walk you through my experience with each feature.
Key Features I Tried (And How They Worked)
I tested all the features of Ranklytics and here is my honest opinion.
1. Keyword Research: Good, But Needs Filtering Options
Ranklytics does a great job of generating keyword ideas quickly.
I tested it by searching for keywords in the “weight loss” niche, and in just seconds, I had a list of hundreds of options as you can see below.
This could be a major time-saver if you need to come up with blog post ideas fast.
But there’s a downside: there’s no option to filter these keywords by difficulty or search volume.
I found myself scrolling through a long list trying to spot the best opportunities manually, which was a bit frustrating.
For example, if I wanted to target low-competition keywords, I couldn’t filter them easily.
But When I clicked on the Analyse button showing for the keyword then it gave me a good report with related keywords, NLP terms, intent of keyword and many more as shown below.
Pros:
- Fast keyword generation
- Plenty of ideas
Cons:
- No filtering options for difficulty or search volume, which is a real drawback if you want to get specific.
2. AI Article Writing Using GPT-4o: Decent, But Not Perfect
One of Ranklytics’ big selling points is the AI-powered article writer, which uses ChatGPT-4o.
As someone who spends hours crafting blog posts, I was curious to see if this could save me time.
So I had it generate an article on “Best Meal Replacement Shakes for Weight Loss”
The AI produced a decently structured piece, but I wouldn’t call it “ready to publish.”
The tone was a bit stiff, and while it included useful information, it felt like a first draft at best.
You’ve to give it some personal touchl, add your voice, and ensure the facts are accurate.
Pros:
- Quick generation of long-form articles (up to 2,500 words).
- Includes semantically related keywords and NLP terms.
Cons:
- The generated content isn’t always 100% perfect. You’ll need to edit and personalize the content to ensure it’s both engaging and SEO-friendly.
- No option to manually add or adjust subheadings before generating content.
3. On-Page Audits: Comprehensive and Insightful
Ranklytics also offers an on-page audit tool, which I found particularly useful.
I ran an audit on an older blog post of mine that wasn’t performing as well as I’d hoped.
Ranklytics analyzed things like page load speed, meta descriptions, word count, and SEO scores and gave me specific recommendations as shown in the below screenshot.
For my article, Ranklytics recommended that I increase my word count to 7,500 words to compete with the top-ranking articles, which had significantly more content.
While my article already had 5,200 words, this insight helped me realize that adding more depth and content might boost my rankings.
Additionally, the audit tool provided valuable suggestions on NLP terms and secondary keywords that I should include, such as “affiliate marketing courses,” “topical authority,” and “affiliate marketing business.”
These small additions can significantly impact how Google sees the relevance of your content.

4. Content Gap Analysis: A Solid Feature for Beating Competitors
The Content Gap Analysis tool is one of my favorite features.
It allows you to find keywords your competitors are ranking for but you aren’t.
This gives you a clear roadmap of where you can create content to fill those gaps.
I entered my website, along with three competitors. Ranklytics quickly showed me a list of keywords where my competitors were outperforming me.
For example, I found that competitors were ranking for terms like “One Funnel Away Challenge Review” and “Jasper AI Free Trial,” but I wasn’t.
With this data, I now have a list of high-potential topics to focus on in my next blog posts.
Pros:
- Simple to use and quick results.
- Provides a clear comparison of which competitor sites are ranking for specific keywords that you’re not.
5. Competitor Research: Still Buggy
Ranklytics also offers competitor research, where you can analyze top competitors for a specific keyword. Unfortunately, when I tried to use this feature, I encountered some bugs.
Cons:
The tool took too long to load, and in some cases, it didn’t load at all.
While the idea of comparing competitors’ stats is great, the tool needs some improvement in this area. Hopefully, the Ranklytics team will address this soon.
6. Find Stats and Quotes: A Time-Saver for Content Creators
If you’ve ever written an article, you know how tedious it can be to search for relevant stats and data to back up your points.
Ranklytics solves this with its Find Stats and Quotes feature.
For example, when I searched for stats related to “AI” then it quickly pulled up several relevant data points, complete with links to authoritative sources.
This makes it easy to enhance your content with trustworthy information, which can improve credibility and SEO.
Pros:
- Saves time by providing stats and the original source links.
Cons:
- Limited to available data; might not cover all niches extensively.
7. Keyword Rank Tracking: Needs Improvement
One of the biggest letdowns for me was the keyword rank tracking feature.
This tool is supposed to track your article’s position for specific keywords.
However, I found the data to be inaccurate.
Cons:
- Incorrect ranking data.
For example, I was ranking #5 for the keyword “Jasper AI Lifetime Deal” according to other tools, but Ranklytics showed my ranking as #63.
Until this feature is more accurate, I wouldn’t recommend relying on it for tracking your rankings.
7. Content Ideas Tool
One of the more unique features of Ranklytics is the Content Ideas Generator.
This tool can help you brainstorm new blog post topics. It pulls ideas based on your target keyword and gives you a list of relevant content angles.
As you can see below, I entered “weight loss” as my seed keyword, and it generated a variety of blog post ideas, like “10 Unexpected Foods That Help with Weight Loss” and “The Science Behind Intermittent Fasting.”
This feature is a great starting point when you’re stuck on what to write next.
What I liked:
- Offers a diverse range of blog ideas based on your keyword.
- Quick and easy to use, perfect for breaking through writer’s block.
What I didn’t:
- The tool is pretty straightforward and useful, though it doesn’t offer advanced features like trending topic suggestions.
Pricing Plans
Ranklytics offers three lifetime pricing tiers:
- Tier 1 ($59): 1 user, 1 website, 3 AI-written articles per month, 25 content audits, and 100 keywords tracked.
- Tier 2 ($149): 5 users, 3 websites, 10 AI-written articles per month, 50 content audits, and 250 keywords tracked.
- Tier 3 ($359): 15 users, 10 websites, 50 AI-written articles per month, 100 content audits, and 500 keywords tracked.
What Could Be Improved
While Ranklytics offers a lot of value, it’s not without its flaws:
- No Keyword Filtering: Adding filters to the keyword research tool would make it much easier to find high-value keywords quickly.
- Inaccurate Rank Tracking: The rank tracker needs to be more reliable.
- Competitor Research Bugs: The competitor research tool frequently has trouble loading, making it less useful.
- AI Article Writing Flexibility: Allowing users to manually adjust outlines or add custom subheadings would enhance the article-writing feature.
Final Verdict: Is Ranklytics Worth It?
If you’re a blogger looking for an affordable SEO tool, Ranklytics is worth checking out — especially for the price.
For just $49 (a one-time payment), you’re getting features like keyword research, content audits, and AI writing.
That’s a steal compared to other SEO tools that charge monthly fees.
That said, it’s not perfect.
The keyword tracking and competitor research features could use some improvement, and the AI-generated content is just a starting point—you’ll still need to put in some work to make it shine.
But if you’re looking for a tool that can handle a lot of your SEO basics, it’s a solid option.
If you’re okay with doing a little extra work on the AI content and manually filtering your keywords, it’s definitely a tool that can help you save time and boost your SEO game.
So, is Ranklytics the magic bullet for all your SEO needs? No. But is it a helpful addition to your blogger toolkit? Definitely.
